About
We are a small up-and-coming bmx apparel and video production company. My name is Asa Reed I own and manage Erday Bike Co. It started with an idea, 'even those big bike companies had to start somewhere.' So I thought how awesome it would be to have my own. My good friend, Ben Dionne, was always a big part of it. From deciding the name to giving good advice on logos.
At first the name, Erday, was a joke. Just like a little crew we started for fun. Our first shirts were done spray paint and a cardboard stencil of a bike wheel saying erday bike co around it, it was a disaster. Now that I think about it if we did a simpler logo it may have worked out better. We kinda gave up on shirts for a while.
Then I got my first good camera, a Canon Rebel XS. Soon just having a photo camera got pretty boring, so I sold it and upgraded to a Canon T2i. That camera was the shit the quality surpassed many cameras even more expensive than it. But the one thing it lacked with a flip out screen. So I sold that one and bought a T3i, which was basically the same camera but had the flip out screen. And I'm still shooting with it today.
The awesome thing about DSLRs is the lenses. I currently have a Sigma 18-200mm, Canon 50mm f/1.8, and a Rokinon 8mm Fisheye which was scratched and is being replaced. Its really sucks not having a fisheye lens but I can be way more creative without it.
The main person who helped get Erday up on its feet was Wilson Cramp. Wilson would have to be one of the best riders in Windham. Wilson loved the idea and was the best person on our team. He is an amazing rider and all around chill dude and he really helped spread Erday out with his amazing edits.
Another major player in Erday is Joshua Mccrillis. He works at EquipME bike shop were we sell our merchandise and he rides for us. Josh is a very technical peg-less rider. He is really talented and recently recovered from an injury and is only showing improvement. Josh spreads Erday everywhere he can and shows so much support for us, and it means the world to us.
As of just recently we start to print all of our own clothing with a DIY screen printing method that I may explain in a future video. So far we are loving how the shirts are coming out and if you guys keep buying them we can make new designs and more shirts! Thanks for reading this and thanks for your support. I really hope you consider buying some of our products and help support the locals!
